How KB Painting began
The business began during a turning point for the Smith family. Braiden had lost his corporate job, and he and Kaylee were expecting their first child. Kaylee refinished a desk and sold it on Facebook Marketplace within hours. That project became the starting point for a family business in their garage.
Braiden and Kaylee built KB around a straightforward promise: show up, do the work carefully and stand behind the result. They remain the owners running the company today.

Braiden visits job sites, scopes work for estimates and sets the preparation and finish standards the crew follows. His work includes cabinet refinishing, interior painting and exterior painting.
KB's painters are direct employees of the company. For Braiden, that means the people doing the work share responsibility for the same standards, from the first visit through the final walkthrough.
