A refinished desk and a new beginning
Kaylee's first step toward KB Painting was a furniture project. In 2019, while she and Braiden were expecting their first child, she refinished a desk and listed it on Facebook Marketplace. It sold within hours.
Braiden had lost his corporate job that same week. Together, they turned that first sale into the beginning of a business in their garage, building KB Painting & Refinishing around careful work and personal accountability.
Kaylee's work at KB
Kaylee coordinates the day-to-day operations that connect customers, schedules and the company's own painting crew. Her work keeps communication clear as a project moves from the estimate toward the final walkthrough.
She and Braiden remain involved in running KB. The company's services include interior painting, exterior painting and cabinet refinishing, with work carried out by KB employees.
