KB Painting’s full-kitchen planning range is $4,000–$7,000, with roughly $200–$400 extra for a significant color change. The written estimate depends on the door and drawer count, repairs, preparation, coating system and included fixed sections. We inspect your cabinet materials and count the included pieces to prepare the quote.
List islands, pantries, built-ins, exposed ends and bathroom vanities separately when comparing quotes. Hardware changes may require filling or drilling, and cabinet interiors are separate unless included. Larger or more complex kitchens may fall outside the planning range.

Inspect wood, veneer and previous coatings
An older raised-panel door may have visible grain or previous finish layers worth discussing before a color change. A newer door may have a coating that needs a different adhesion or preparation approach. We check the existing finish and its condition when choosing the preparation and products.
We assess the surface before specifying preparation, primer and finish. Stain bleed, loose coating, veneer thickness, swollen board and damage around water sources can change the plan. Grain filling or replacement doors are decisions to agree on, not work to assume is included.
Bring your ideas for hinges and pulls to the estimate. We can assess the existing hardware and include any agreed filling or drilling in the scope.
Plan access and working conditions
For a gated community or condominium, confirm contractor access, working hours, insurance-document requirements and any approval rules with the property manager before scheduling.
If you will be away, agree on access and communication arrangements in advance. Temperature, humidity and ventilation must suit the specified coating. We confirm those conditions and available project dates when planning the work.
